Amazon Prime Day is coming soon!!! Let me educate you if you’ve been busy taking care of your people and you somehow missed the explanation of what Amazon Prime Day actually is. Do you ever order anything from Amazon? If so, becoming a Prime member is totally the bomb.
Amazon Prime membership is a monthly paid membership that gets you all kinds of perks, but the most important is FREE shipping on everything you order from Amazon. If you order a once or twice a month the membership pays for itself!
Besides shipping, you also get streaming access to tons of movies and television shows and access to Kindle books.
So I told you all that to tell you this:
Prime Day is a BIIIIIIGGGGG sale with literally 100,000s of products on sale. A really BIG sale! And, I LOVE to save money! (Yep, even more than spending it!) BUT, you have to be a Prime member to take advantage of the discounts! If you’re not a Prime member, you can sign up now for a FREE 30-day trial.
If you, like me, are in the business of launching kiddos, that means we’re also in the business of finding a deal and saving money where we can. Can I get an ‘amen’? Because besides the price of college itself, these babies have to eat, and live in a place other than home. And it ALLLLLL takes money. Lots of it. I want to help YOU as I try to find deals myself.

For your launching kiddos
Ok, ladies! Enough with the words – let’s get to the good stuff! Who here is sending kids back to college in the fall? Who would like a dorm fridge to show up on your doorstep instead of you lugging it out to the parking lot from a box store???? Pick me!!!!!! Ok, maybe I think more about these logistical problems because it’s hot outside and I’m hot flashing.
Check out the Prime Day COLLEGE DEALS here and my picks below!
How about a Keurig for a dorm room so your student won’t have to wash a coffee pot, only a coffee mug (and this one gives hot water on demand). Or perhaps this fantastic first aid kit that includes extras like cold medicine, or even a secure Ring doorbell for your new apartment dweller daughter.
Be sure to check out the Resources tab above to find Launching Your Young Adults. It’s a huge list of websites to help your kid in the transition to college and adulthood.

A few things for the mama
Let’s finally get those string lights up on the patio! And think about a new look for your office chairs because your daughter took yours to her new apartment.

While we’re talking about Amazon, I am so down for trying AmazonFresh when it’s available in my area. I have gotten spoiled with my deliveries from Amazon Marketplace (toilet paper and paper products, AC filters, laundry detergent, etc.. All you have to do is set up delivery intervals and then you don’t even think about those things anymore. It’s amazing. Nope, it’s Amazon. (I made a funny.)
